Senior Photos
For my project, I join a group from yearbook to offer senior portraits to those who would like them taken at a cheaper price. It was Alex Diaz, Kelsay Cook, Sarah Kane, and I who were in this project. Our mentor is Ramsey. Our purpose for this was to raise money for kids who couldn't afford a yearbook. If we didn't make enough for all the kids who couldn't afford one, their names will be put in a drawing and who ever gets their name drawn out, will get the yearbook that way, we're just not picking out who will get one and who will not, since it's unfair to do so.

Feb. 1, 2016
Started research on my topic: How to get a good photo.
Though I don't know how to get a good photo, I'm a beginner at photography and I don't have much knowledge of it...
Feb 3, 2016
We discussed why we aren't getting responses...
Maybe because seniors put their portraits off last minute?
It seems like it's the parents that would care more for the photos rather than the students.

Reflection
I feel like this project didn't really go as well as we expected it to be. I thought we would have at least more than ten clients but we have only had two so far. Since we opened it up around December and there was nothing but snow outside, I could see why not many people would want to take their photos. I also think that not many wanted their photos taken inside with a backdrop. For sure they wanted it to be taken outside somewhere. We have also asked people if they would like to get their photos taken at that point, some replied with a yes but when it is spring. But hey, as of now, we are still taking in as many people as we can.
I felt more of a apprentice to the two of my teammates who knew a lot more things about photography than I did. It was nice I guess. With one of our clients, there was only two of us that was available to take in the client and I was put in charge. That didn't go too well. I didn't know what to do and I couldn't really work with the client because I did not know what kind of shots he didn't want. But of course, I had help from my teammate that was there with me, he just wanted to see what I can do and what I can't and also, he wanted me to get the experience of controlling the model and the lights. It wasn't too bad of a first try.
